Energy Auditor
Energy Auditor
Name the appliances, then the bill. Trinidad uses the verified T&TEC home schedule. Any other place stays not verified yet.
Appliances
Each row needs a name, a quantity, watts, and hours per day. Hours above 24 are refused. No wattage is filled in for you.
Estimate from the schedule and the hours input.
Your bill
This place stays not verified yet and does not show rates.
Take a photo of your electricity bill, or type the words from it. We use the line called Total Current Billing. We do not use Amount Due.

How to read the bill
Confirm these readings before you run Energy Auditor.
| Reading | What it is | How to use it |
|---|---|---|
| Total Current Billing | The current-period charges on a T&TEC invoice. | Use this figure as the bill total. It is the number the check recomputes. Do not substitute Amount Due. |
| Amount Due | What the utility asks you to pay today. | Amount Due can include arrears or a credit from a previous bill. The check ignores it. |
| kWh or units | Energy recorded on the meter for the printed period. | kWh comes from the bill. It is never inferred from the amount you spent. |
| Billing period | The printed start and end dates, often about two months on T&TEC. | Keep the period the bill prints. Do not scale kWh or money to a 30-day month. |
| Rate class | The class printed on the invoice, such as Residential A or Commercial B. | Only verified T&TEC classes can pass the check. Any other class stops with not verified yet. |
| Energy, customer charge, and VAT | The itemised current-period lines, excluding arrears. | The check compares these lines with a recompute. A total on its own is not enough. |
